The airbases

Urlay Nook

Progress House is home to our headquarters and world-class training facility. From August 2020, it is also the operational base of Helimed 63. The new base will allow us to develop our renowned training functions – which already attract clinicians from all over the world. It will allow us to research new equipment and methods that will save lives here in the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. It is from the air desk at Progress House that our emergency response across our entire region is coordinated.
