Progress House is the new headquarters and world-class training facility for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Our state-of-the-art airbase is perfectly located in the heart of the North East. The facility brings together the fundraising, lottery, administration and operational teams under one roof for the first time, with a new hangar landing facilities for our aircraft.

Our critical care teams responded to more than 1,600 call-outs in the last year. We needed to raise £5.3m to pay for that. Raising this amount of money requires an efficient operation that can reach across our 8,000 square mile area and handle with consistency the donations, the communications, the inquiries, the events, the talks, the volunteers, the lottery, and the recycling, to name a few functions.

A world-class training facility

Not only home to the charity and airbase, but Progress House also welcomes clinicians from around the world to train at the Medical Centre of Excellence.
